LifeGroups at Lifeway Church
Each LifeGroup consists of 3 people and is gender-specific. Groups are designed to connect people intentionally through prayer, the Bible, and community. Each group will have one person who is the Catalyst who makes sure that everyone is connecting through prayer and conversations. The Catalyst will also set up a meet point. A meet point is a place where the 3 decide to get together and talk about: A Bible verse or passage God is using to speak to you, how you are applying it to your life, and how God is working in your life. The Catalyst is responsible for initiating the conversations at the meet point. The Catalyst has no preparation in regard to planning a study, thus eliminating the pressures and responsibilities of being a leader. The purpose for LifeGroups is to create conversation, prayer, and accountability through an emphasis on the DNA that should be a part of every Believer: The Bible (what God is saying to you), prayer (listening and talking to God daily), and community (supporting one another in daily life). LifeGroups will meet together for a year at a time and then be reassigned.
