When Jesus was asked to sum up everything into one command, he said to love God with everything we have and to love our neighbors as ourselves. That doesn't sound so difficult, does it? The reality is we have turned the simple idea of loving our neighbor into a catchy saying - something to put on bumper stickers and refrigerator magnets. Most of us are just continuing on with life as usual. But what if every follower of Jesus took that command seriously? Is it possible that the solution to our greatest social issues has been locked in Jesus' command for the past 2000 years?
